The Alliance is a 501 (c) (6) tax exempt professional membership organization. Membership dues are not tax deductible, but may be deductible as trade or business expenses if ordi­nary and necessary in the conduct of the taxpayer’s business. The estimated amount of membership dues allocable to nondeductible lobbying expenditures is 18%.
