The New York School-Based Health Foundation, NYSBHA’s 501(c)3 sister organization, has successfully secured $175,000 this year in grant funds for its project work. The Foundation submitted proposals to the New York Community Trust for three projects: a 2 year statewide data repository pilot, development of a sbhc learning and leadership academy, and a visibility and marketing campaign. NYCT approved a $100,000, two year grant for the Foundation. Another proposal was successfully submitted to the Ira W. DeCamp Foundation for $75.000 in funds to support the data pilot. Both the data pilot and the leadership academy fall under the Foundation’s Center for Excellence, a broad-based, high-level education and resource center being developed to support sbhc professionals.

More information about these and other projects, and Foundation grant work, can be found on the Foundation website’s project page.
